About Lisa

Flowers mark so many moments in our lives — the joy of a wedding, the celebration of an anniversary, the bittersweet beauty of a memorial. They are tied to our most meaningful memories. As a deeply sentimental person, I always look for ways to hold onto these memories and the feelings attached.

My journey into floral preservation began with a conversation with a recently married friend and has become the most rewarding adventure I've ever taken! Through all the trial and error, I have learned that floral preservation is not just a craft, but a blend of patience, science, and artistry. Each flower is unique and beautiful. From the meticulous drying process to the application of the resin, every step is done with the highest level of attention to detail and love.

My favourite day is when a fresh bouquet arrives in my studio. Every bouquet is unique, from the types of flowers chosen to the colour palette, and each of them begins a very individual creative journey. I approach each commission with the same care I would give to my own keepsakes. Whether I’m preserving a wedding bouquet, a memorial arrangement, or those “just because" flowers that have special meanings. I work out of my home studio in Ottawa, where I continue to refine my craft and explore new ways to encapsulate your memories. No two pieces are ever alike, because no two stories are ever the same.

That's what I love most about this work — the opportunity to capture your story in a way that lasts forever.  It’s truly a privilege to create your pieces!
