The Preservation Process

Preserving flowers is a deeply personal process, and I want your experience to feel just as meaningful as the final piece. My goal is to make the process simple, supportive, and enjoyable, while treating your blooms with the same care and respect you would. When you choose to work with me, you’ll receive clear guidance at every step—from reserving your date, to selecting your preservation style, to the exciting moment your keepsake is delivered. Here’s a quick breakdown of the process I follow.

Step 1

Reserve your date!

Some months get very busy, so locking in your date as soon as possible is advised.  Reach out to me with your date 3+ months in advance if possible. A $300 non-refundable deposit to the artist is required to hold this date.
Step 2

Select your preservation pieces.

This can be a little overwhelming. You have until you ship your bouquet to me to confirm the piece(s) you'd like to commission. If you'd like guidance on which floral preservation designs would work best with your blooms, I'd be only too happy to help you in the decision-making process. Email me with any questions you have.
Step 3

Send me your flowers.

You have two options to choose from for shipping: hand-delivering if you're able or use a shipping carrier. If you will be delivering your flowers, plan to deliver/ship between 1-3 days following the event. The best results come from the freshest flowers. I provide all clients with detailed shipping and packaging instructions to ensure I get your blooms in the best condition as possible.
Step 4

Pay your balance.

Payment is required in full before beginning your preservation(s). Payments are non-refundable. If you require shipping, the shipping total will be added to your final invoice before sending payment.
Step 5

Approve floral preservation designs.

Once your flowers are dry, the next step is planning the layout/design of your piece(s). You will recieve 1-2 layout designs for approval. Layout designs are only available for the main preservation pieces. However, if you have a preference for which blooms you'd like used in your add-on pieces, this can be discussed before pouring begins.
Step 6

Get Excited!

Approximately 4 to 8 months from the time I received your flowers, you can expect your final pieces be shipped to you. I will connect with you to coordinate pick-up/shipping. Any shipping costs will be covered by the customer.
